★ HOW TO PLAY
• Print cards, cut them out and fold them in the middle.
• The quizmaster reads the question and answers aloud, the teams discuss quietly and write their answer on the answer sheet.
• After each round, the quizmaster reads out the solutions, the points are entered into the scoreboard: 1 point per correct answer, a bonus for the best estimate, double points in the children's round – and each team has a Christmas joker.
• In case of a tie? Then three tie-breaker questions will decide the winner.
• It can also be done without a quizmaster: as a card duel, team against team.

Each of the 100 answers and every tiebreaker question was researched before printing – in Wikipedia and Wikisource, at museums, government agencies, and specialist websites. The sources are listed on the last two pages. A proofreading script compares each card back with the answer key and identifies duplicate questions and text that runs from a card. Myths like the "Christmas pickle" only appear as "Myth or Truth" questions – with the correct answer.
