HOW IT WORKS
1) Order and fill in the personalization boxes.
2) Within 1 day, we send you your poem draft in Etsy Messages.
3) Reply "Go", or reply with one free tweak. If we don't hear back within 24 hours, we finish your poem as sent, so it still arrives on time. If anything is missing or unclear (a name or spelling we're unsure of, a story too short to build a verse from, or private details we have to leave out), we'll ask in Etsy Messages before writing. If we don't hear back within 24 hours, we'll write from what you sent and keep it general, and your 5-day delivery still holds.
4) We set your poem in our printable design and check every name and line. If you didn't give pronouns, we write the poem using their name and "you".
5) Your PDF arrives in your Etsy Purchases within 5 days of your order. Etsy emails you when it's ready.

TIMELINE
Delivered within 5 days of your order, usually sooner. Day 1: your poem draft (or a quick question first, if something's unclear) arrives in Etsy Messages. You then have 24 hours to approve it or ask for your free tweak. There is no rush option.

WHAT TO SEND US (in the personalization boxes)
1) The name of the person it's for, and who it's from, and their pronouns if you'd like them used.
2) Their relationship to you: spouse or partner, fiance(e), dating partner, yourself, a couple you're gifting, or other.
3) The occasion, then 3 to 5 real moments, such as how you (or they) met, places, pets, rituals, inside jokes or a favorite saying.
4) Poem style: rhyming, free verse, or our choice.
5) Optional: a mood (upbeat, tender, funny), a nickname or phrase to use, or anything to leave out.
Short notes are fine. Specific little details make the best poems. After you order we may ask one or two optional extras in Etsy Messages (a favorite saying, personality words, or a title idea).

YOUR POEM APPROVAL AND REVISIONS
- You see your poem before we finish it, and you get one free tweak (a word, a line or a detail). Please send all your changes in one message.
- No reply within 24 hours of our draft means we finish the poem as sent, so it arrives on time.
- After delivery: if we got something wrong (a name misspelled, a line that differs from the draft you approved, or a detail that differs from what you sent), tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it free.
- New ideas or a change of mind after your poem is delivered would be a new order.

REFUNDS
This is a personalized digital item made just for your order, so we can't offer refunds for a change of mind once your poem is delivered. We will always fix our own mistakes. You get a full refund if we can't take on your request (we tell you before any work starts), if we miss our 5-day delivery, or if we can't fix our mistake after one redo.

WHAT WE WON'T WRITE
- Poems about, or naming, celebrities, public figures or famous people.
- Copies or close imitations of existing poems or song lyrics, or "write it like [famous poet]".
- Brand, product or team names.
- Hateful, explicit, sexual, threatening or mocking content, or anything about someone that they wouldn't be happy to read.
- Romantic or love poems about anyone under 18. Love poems are for adult couples only.
If we can't write your request, we tell you and refund you in full before any work starts.

Please use first names or nicknames only. No last names, addresses, schools, workplaces, health details or other private information. Only share stories that are yours to share. It may not be resold, published, monetized or used in ads. Because it's written with AI assistance, we can't promise copyright, exclusivity or that it is one of a kind.
