Description

A late 1800s/early1900s olive/pickle fork in EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) and an ivory look-alike (celluloid?) for the handle. An interesting piece from the period when virtually every food had a specialized serving utensil. I especially like the branch effect for the handle!

The pictures tell you everything you need to know: silver-plated piece with engraved designs in the metal, a basketweave- patterned band where the faux-ivory handle meets the metal, and the letters "EPNS" on the reverse side of the metallic portion of the piece. There is also an "MH" - or is it "HW?" - to the left of the "EPNS", not sure what that signifies.

I'm certain that this will make your life easier, especially if you curse the last few olives in the jar & your inability to get at them without dumping them into the sink. That's not a guarantee from me, but it seems like a reasonable expectation, right?

The fork is 9.125" (9 and 1/8th inch) long, plenty long enough to get to the bottom of most jars.

Processing time for this item will be brief; I like to get my orders shipped within 48 hours, typically using Priority Shipping via the USPS.
