**14k Gold Filled chain: Gold filled is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and is considered a lifetime piece.

Blue agate, also called Chalcedony (kal-sed-uh-nee), is a form of quartz consisting of compact submicroscopic fibrous crystal aggregates. The natural blue color is attributed to interference of light caused by voids between the individual crystals... a phenomenon known as "scattering". The color ranges from a very light to a fairly rich blue, and clarity from nearly transparent to nearly opaque.

The word Agate comes from the Greek "Agateeq" which means happy. It is said to insure good health combined with a long and prosperous life. Often tiny quartz crystals form within the stone and add to the beauty and uniqueness of individual stones. These crystals are called drusy.

Agate is the Ayurvedic Birthstone for May, the Hebrew Birthstone for May, the Roman Birthstone for May, the Arabic Birthstone for June, the Mystical Birthstone for September. This stone is found all over the world including: the Africa, Asia, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Nepal, and the USA.
