Sticker Pricing Calculator for Excel and Google Sheets: know what to charge for a die-cut sticker, a sticker sheet, a sticker pack or a cut vinyl decal, and what you keep after Etsy fees. Type your sticker paper, laminate, ink and blade at the price you paid, the stickers on a sheet and your minutes, and the sheet shows your retail price, wholesale price, profit after fees and profit per hour at the top. Then quote a wholesale or custom order on one page and keep each order's profit by month.

The filled-in example: a 3 in die-cut vinyl sticker, 54 to a print run, costs $1.11, including $0.12 of paper, laminate, ink and blade, about 2 paid minutes at $20 an hour and 8% misprints. It sells for $2.50 with $1.25 shipping and keeps $1.05 after Etsy fees and a stamp. Change any number and the price updates as you type.

Made for sticker shops in the US who print and cut their own stickers or cut vinyl decals and sell on Etsy, at markets or wholesale to shops. Instant download for Excel and Google Sheets on a computer.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Price from your real supply costs: type the pack price, how much is in the pack and the unit. 30 letter sheets of printable vinyl for $12.99 become $0.43 a sheet, 50 laminate sheets for $15.99 become $0.32 a sheet, and an ink set or a blade is priced by the sheets it prints or cuts.
- Price per sticker from the sheet: type how many stickers a print run makes (6 sheets x 9 stickers = 54) and the sheets, minutes and machine hours for the whole run. Every cost comes out per sticker, per sheet or per pack.
- Use the sheet size you print on: letter sheets, 13 x 19 in sheets, sq in or sq ft - they convert, so a 3 x 3 in sticker can be priced by its 9 sq in, and adhesive vinyl and transfer tape bought by the roll can be typed in sq ft (the example 6 x 4 in decal uses 2.5 sq ft of each for 12 decals).
- Price in misprints and miscuts: type the share you lose (8% in the example). A misprinted sticker took the same paper, ink, laminate and time, so the good ones carry it - cost / (1 - misprint rate). Backing cards and sleeves are counted for the good packs only.
- Time in three steps: design and set up the file, print, laminate and cut, and sort and pack, in minutes. The ink drying wait is separate, and you decide how much of it is paid.
- Count the printer and cutter's electricity, packaging and shipping supplies, plus a share of your monthly costs (Etsy plan, design and cutter software, ads) spread over the stickers you make in a month.
- Pay yourself: your time x your hourly wage is part of the cost, so any profit is on top of your pay.
- Price three ways: for a target profit (the share of the price you want to keep, 40% to start), with cost x multipliers (cost x 2 = wholesale, wholesale x 2 = retail to start, both yours to change), or check the price you charge now with "My price". With a target profit or My price, the wholesale price is half the retail price - about what shops pay - and a note shows when selling to shops at that price would lose money.
- See your Etsy fees line by line: transaction fee 6.5% of the item and the shipping you charge, payment processing 3% of what the buyer pays (including sales tax) + $0.25, and the $0.20 listing fee. On a $2.50 sticker these fees matter, and you see each one. Every rate is yours to change.
- Write a wholesale or custom quote: the Quote Builder takes your designs at your prices and adds a rush fee, a delivery fee, a discount and a deposit, ready to print as a one-page quote.
- Keep track of your orders: the Order Tracker lists each order from Etsy, direct sales and wholesale with what you charged, what it cost, the fees and the profit, with a summary by month.
- See every design on one Price List: cost, wholesale, retail, Etsy fees, postage, profit and profit per hour, side by side.
- Catch typing slips before you price: a missing number, text in a number cell, a zero pack size, a number far too large, an hourly wage under $1 or printer watts typed in kW turns red, and the price stays hidden until it is fixed. A fraction typed as 1/2 or a clock time typed as 4:30 turns red and says what to type instead: a decimal such as 0.5 or 4.5, or whole minutes such as 30. Orange asks you to double-check: printer and cutter watts over 1,500, a drying wait over 48 hours, an item price over $500 (a unit or a price typed wrong), one design using more than a whole pack, and a sticker that loses money after fees.
- See what each supply costs in one sticker: the Pricing Calculator lists the biggest material lines, biggest cost first, so a pack price typed as one sheet stands out.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
- One spreadsheet file (.xlsx) for Excel, plus a PDF with your link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. Tabs: Start Here, Materials, Products, Recipes, Pricing Calculator, Price List, Quote Builder, Order Tracker, Units, Notes.
- Finished examples already filled in: a 3 in die-cut vinyl sticker ($2.50, $1.05 profit after Etsy fees), a 3 in holographic die-cut sticker ($2.75, $1.21 profit), a 4 x 6 in kiss-cut sticker sheet ($5.00, $2.06 profit), a pack of 5 stickers on a backing card in a sleeve ($9.00, $3.65 profit) and a 6 x 4 in cut vinyl decal with transfer tape ($6.00, $2.41 profit). Replace the example prices with your own.
- Room for 50 materials, 25 designs and 200 recipe lines, with 6 units to pick from (8.5x11 sheet, sq in, sq ft, 13x19 sheet, piece, dozen).
- Yellow cells are the only cells you fill in. In Excel, formula cells are locked to keep them safe from accidental edits; in your Google Sheets copy, typing over a formula shows a warning first.

HOW TO USE IT
1. Materials: type each supply once - the pack price, how much is in the pack and the unit.
2. Products and Recipes: on Products, one row per design with the stickers per print run, the minutes of each step, the drying wait, the printer and cutter watts and hours, the misprint rate, packaging and postage. On Recipes, the sheets of paper, laminate, ink and blade for the whole run.
3. Pricing Calculator: pick a design and set your hourly wage, how much of the drying wait you are paid for, monthly costs, electricity price, pricing method and Etsy fees. The retail price, wholesale price, profit after fees and profit per hour show at the top.
4. Quote Builder and Order Tracker: pick designs from your Price List to quote an order or to log an order you made.

FAQ
How much should I charge for a sticker?
Add up the paper, laminate, ink and blade, your time at an hourly wage, the misprints, packaging, a share of your monthly costs and the Etsy fees, then set the price for the profit you want. In the example, a 3 in die-cut vinyl sticker costs $1.11 (about 2 paid minutes at $20 an hour and 8% misprints included) and sells for $2.50, priced for a 40% profit after Etsy fees and rounded up to the next $0.25: $1.05 per sticker.

How do I work out the cost of one sticker from a sheet?
Type the pack of sheets once on Materials, then type the sheets a print run uses and the stickers it makes on Products. In the example, paper, laminate, ink, blade and mat come to about $1.01 a letter sheet; with 9 stickers a sheet and 8% misprints, that is $0.12 a sticker.

Are Etsy fees worth it on a cheap sticker?
The calculator shows each fee so you can see. For the example sticker at $2.50 with $1.25 shipping and 7% sales tax, the transaction fee is $0.24, payment processing $0.37 and the listing fee $0.20 - $0.81 in all - and the profit after fees, the stamp and all costs is $1.05. A pack of 5 at $9.00 keeps $3.65, because the fixed fees are paid once.

How do I price in misprints and miscuts?
Type the share you lose on the Products sheet. A misprinted sticker took the same paper, ink, laminate and time, so the good stickers carry it: cost / (1 - misprint rate).

What should I charge shops wholesale for stickers?
Shops usually pay about half the retail price, so with a target profit or My price the wholesale price is half the retail price. For the example sticker, $1.25 wholesale leaves $0.14 over all your costs and your wage - thin for a big order. If you sell a lot to shops, pick "Cost x multipliers" and set the multipliers yourself.

Can I offer free shipping?
Yes. Type $0 for the shipping you charge. The postage you pay stays a cost, and the transaction fee is then only on the item price.

Is the price I charge now high enough?
Type it in the My price column on the Products sheet and pick "My price". You see the profit after fees, the margin and what you earn per hour at that price, and the status line at the top turns orange if the price is below your cost or loses money after fees.

Does it work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Your download includes a PDF with a link: click it and Google Sheets makes your own copy, no upload needed. In Google Sheets, fill only the yellow cells and type decimals such as 0.5, not fractions such as 1/2.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD
After you buy, open etsy.com in a web browser (computer recommended), go to Purchases and reviews, and click Download Files. Digital files cannot be downloaded in the Etsy app.
- Microsoft Excel: open the .xlsx file in Excel on a computer.
- Google Sheets: open the PDF in your download, click Make my copy in Google Sheets, then click Make a copy. The copy is saved in your Google Drive. A free Google account is enough. (You can also upload the .xlsx at drive.google.com: New > File upload, then right-click it > Open with > Google Sheets.)

LIMITATIONS
- Instant digital download. Nothing is shipped. No sticker designs, cut files or print templates are included - this is a pricing spreadsheet.
- Needs Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets on a computer.
- Made in Microsoft Excel and checked in Google Sheets.
- Not tested in Excel on the web, Excel for Mac, Numbers or the Google Sheets phone app.
- In Google Sheets, formula cells are not locked as they are in Excel. The copy from your link warns you before you type over a formula; an uploaded .xlsx does not, so fill only the yellow cells.
- One price per design. Quantity tiers (1, 10, 50 stickers) are not built in; make a row for each pack size you sell.
- Prices assume one design per order; with several stickers in one order, the shipping, the $0.25 fixed fee and the postage are shared, so each sticker keeps a little more.
- US dollars. Units convert within the same kind (sheet sizes and areas, count); a sheet can't be turned into a piece.
- Room for 50 materials, 25 designs and 200 recipe lines.
- It prices, quotes and tracks orders and profit, but it is not an inventory or bookkeeping file.
- The Quote Builder holds up to 10 lines per quote, and the Order Tracker up to 200 orders per file.
- The Quote Builder shows prices before sales tax (its printed note says so); the Pricing Calculator shows what the buyer pays with sales tax.
- Etsy fees and the sales tax rate in the file are examples (Etsy US fees as published in Oct 2026; Offsite Ads, Etsy Ads, currency conversion, shipping labels and fees in other countries not included). Check your own shop and your local sales tax rate.
- Example supply prices, ink and blade life, stickers per sheet, times, watts and misprint rates are examples. Replace them with your own.
- For use in your own business. Please do not resell or share the file.
- Because this is a digital download, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
