This deep yet bright green, highly iridescent dish windchime is pretty spectacular, measuring a little over 25" long and 11" at its widest.

The chimes are hand-cut stained glass, alternating pieces of iridescent to pick up the colors in the dish, and glue chip, a clear glass with a delicate fern-like pattern. I drill holes in the dish and each of the chimes and then put it all together with stainless steel wire and glass beads. The stainless ensures both strength and durability - all of my pieces can go outside in any weather (although you should bring it indoors during high, sustained winds). We've all had windchimes made with monofilament (fishing line) and become frustrated after they dry rot and break from being exposed to the elements, leaving a pile of pieces on the lawn. This won't break.

Just as pretty indoors as out, this would make a perfect gift for a collector of vintage glass. Although the dish is a new piece, it has the effect of carnival glass and the leaf shape is so 40s.

Unfortunately, it requires a big box and lots of careful packaging so shipping won't be cheap. I've reduced the price of the chime from my usual art show rates to compensate.

Thanks for looking. I'll be adding a lot of new chimes every day, most of them made from vintage pieces, so come back often.
