Homeschool Gradebook and Report Card Template, Weighted Grades and GPA, Google Sheets and Excel

A homeschool gradebook and report card spreadsheet that turns the scores you type into weighted grades, letter grades and GPA, then prints a one-page report card and progress report for each of up to 5 kids.

Type the scores, print the report card. Log each assignment once - the date, the child, the subject, the category and the points - and every term grade, letter, GPA and missing-work list updates on its own. No more adding up percentages by hand at the end of the semester.

WHAT IT DOES FOR YOU
- Weighted categories: Tests, Quizzes, Homework, Projects, Labs and Participation (rename them), with usual weights you can change for any subject - Tests 50 / Homework 50 for Algebra, Labs 30 for Biology.
- Empty categories never drag a grade down: if there's no project yet this term, its weight is shared among the categories that have scores. Grade Breakdown shows the math for every subject.
- Missing, Late and Excused: Missing counts as 0 (or not until it's turned in), Late takes off the penalty you choose, Excused is left out. Plan ahead by typing future work without a score; points possible of 0 is extra credit.
- Semesters or quarters: type the dates once and every score lands in the right term. The final grade is the average of the terms, or all work for the year - your choice.
- Your grading scale: A+ to F with + and -, or plain A-F, rounded to a whole number or one decimal before the letter.
- GPA per child: none for younger kids, unweighted, or weighted with the Honors, AP and Dual Enrollment bonus.
- Dashboard: each child's current average, grades in every subject and missing work at a glance.
- Final Grades: every course with its final grade, letter and GPA points, in the same column order and grading scale as our Homeschool Transcript and GPA Calculator, ready to copy across.

PRINT-READY ONE-PAGE VIEWS
- Report Card: pick a child and a term - grades for each term, GPA, days present and absent, an overall comment, a comment per subject, the grading scale and signature lines.
- Progress Report: grades this term and the year so far, plus the missing-work list.
- Grades, Grade Breakdown, Final Grades and the Dashboard also print on one page each.
