THE CENSUS FORMS
- 1790; 1800 and 1810 together on one page, since those two years asked the same questions; 1820, 1830 (2 pages), 1840 (3 pages), 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, 1940 (2 pages, including the supplementary questions) and 1950 (2 pages, including the sample-line questions).
- Column headings follow the printed form of each year, in the same order, with the original column numbers. Each year was checked against two published copies of that year's census form.
- There is no 1890 form: most of the 1890 population schedules were destroyed as a result of a 1921 fire.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Fill in the PDF with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader; Chrome and Edge also work. Text shrinks to fit each box. Save a filled copy under a new name to keep a blank master.
- Census pages are landscape; the other forms are portrait. White pages with light tan headers, easy on printer ink.
- Print as many copies of each page as you need for your own research.
