Filmmaker Kevin Schreck has woven together mind-blowing animation, rare archival footage, and exclusive interviews with key animators and artists who worked with Williams on his ill-fated magnum opus to bring this legendary story to the screen.
A tale of art, obsession, and dreams, "PERSISTENCE OF VISION" is the untold story of the greatest animated film never made.

Didn't realize when I ordered this that the seller was also the filmmaker as well. First, I want to say what an amazing document of an impossible project; kind of like an animated Burden of Dreams. I'd wanted to see this for a long time. Second, when one of the discs came loose in shipping, he sent replacement right away, no questions asked. Anyone who loves old school animation needs to see this documentary. This is what independent film should be.Can't recommend it highly enough.

Super fast shipping. Great vendor. Incredible film! Absolutely recommended film, expertly researched and shot with tons of fascinating extras. Can't recommend highly enough. Kevin Schreck's documentary on this unknown "greatest animation film that never was" is a cautionary tale. Whether you're a filmmaker, animator or simply a creative artist, you owe it to yourself to watch this beautifully made film.

Very happy to have this! I love exploring the animated films that I adore. Wonderful documentary about one of the most amazing animators we were ever blessed with and a movie I have been obsessed with since age 7. Every animation buff should have it.
