Roman God of January Shirt, Funny New Year Tee, Roman Mythology Gift for Latin Teachers, Classics Fans and History Buffs

This face made resolutions. That one didn't. A chibi storybook-watercolor Roman god of January tee for Latin teachers, history teachers, classics fans and mythology lovers, just in time for the New Year.

THE STORY BEHIND IT
The Romans honored this god of gates, doors and beginnings first in their prayers, and the month of January is named for him. A small shrine in the Roman Forum had double doors that stood open in wartime and were closed in times of peace, and he was shown looking both ways, as a doorway does, holding a key for the doors and a staff.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
- Funny New Year shirt: the watercolor chibi Roman god of January, one head with a cheerful winking face and a sleepy face, holding an iron key and a wooden staff beside a stone doorway, says "This face made resolutions. That one didn't."
- For Latin teachers, history teachers, classics fans, mythology lovers and anyone whose New Year plans did not survive January
- Big, bold speech-bubble joke, with the design printed about 10 to 12 inches wide, depending on size, so it reads across the room
- Original chibi watercolor art by Honeyman Tees: a curly-haired head in a laurel wreath, a cream toga with olive-green trim, a big iron key, a wooden staff and a stone archway with a wooden door
- Soft, comfy tee, made to order and printed to last; a fun New Year and mythology gift
