Offered he is a 1970-1986 Preben Holm Caprice Tawny 13 Large Pot in a rustic finish that overall, is reminiscent of Caminetto but these are made in Denmark at Holms’ shop with his characteristic style.

The late Preben Holm left a lasting mark on the Danish pipe-making world as a pioneer of the Fancy Freehand style. His portfolio featured a myriad of bold, creative shapes, and even this Pot showcases his inventive, boundary-pushing style. The bowl is rather brawny, and characteristically stout, while the very straight shank and tapered stem remain sleek in comparision. The stummel wears a dark, rugged, pebbly rustication, which contrasts nicely with the pale, shimmering, champagne-hued stem.

At a minimum, I do everything possible to make sure the pipe is at its best and packaged well. All pipes are carefully inspected, cleaned, gently buffed, waxed with Carnauba and the stems are hand polished and oiled as needed. For a decade, I’ve put all I have into these pipes, packaging and more. I really enjoy it and my fellow hobbyists.
