Description

Goatmeal soap is a gentle, skin loving soap made from goat's milk, powdered oatmeal, and a series of skin loving oils and butters. It is similar in oil composition to our lavender soap, a personal favorite at Botany Barn. Goatmeal features five different oils, including one derived from a local Pacific Northwest species, meadowfoam. Meadowfoam oil is known for being very moisturizing, and also very earth friendly, as it has become a great substitute for Sperm Whale oil that used to be commonly used in the cosmetic industry, and it is grown as a rotation crop between other crops. This soap also features skin nourishing Shea butter, and sunflower oil, which is known for its high vitamin E content and skin conditioning properties.

Goatmeal soap is colored naturally with two clays; sea clay, and yellow Brazilian clay. The black lines separating the layers are created with activated charcoal. Gentle to the skin, and unscented, Goatmeal soap is sure to become a new staple in your shower.

This listing is for one bar of soap.

Notes and precautions:
- To ensure that your handmade soaps last as long as possible always keep them on a well-drained soap dish and allow the soap to dry between uses. Soap left in standing water can become soft and will not last as long.
- Please allow for slight differences in the color and size of our soaps, as all our soaps are handmade in small batches and cut by hand. Natural colorants can fade slightly with time, which will not affect the quality of your soap.
- All Botany Barn products are produced in a facility that uses almond, hazelnut and other nut oils, so please be aware of this for those with severe nut allergies
- This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
