Description

This adorable pig just loves showing off his 1st place county fair ribbon!

"Oscar" is one of my original creations and is sewn from a faded tan and red stripe homespun. Oscar has black bead eyes, little folded up ears, a large button nose and a very curly fabric tail. These are all handsewn on.

Oscar's long wooden legs have been painted black and heavily sanded to compliment his olde-time country appearance.

His "1st Place County Fair" ribbon is a handwritten coffee dyed tag with a dark blue salt dough star and a bit of rusted wire attached to the tag. The tag has been hung over his ear.

Last of all, a 1 inch (2.54) rusty heart has been added near Oscar's tail.

He is approximately 7 inches (17.78cm) tall and 9 inches (22.86cm) long. And very skinny at 2 inches (5.08cm) wide!

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNING ITEMS:

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

SHIPPING / RETURN SHIPPING AND THE "RUSH ORDER/EXPEDITE FEE" LISTING ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.


LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS:


If your item is damaged during shipping, you may request a replacement item or refund of the purchase price minus the actual shipping costs. I require one or more photos of the damaged item and the packing, if the outside packing shows damage. Once I receive the photos, I will file a claim with the shipping carrier and provide you with a refund or replacement.

Please keep all packing materials, etc. and the damaged item until I receive notification that the claim is settled.


--- In the event of loss for a mailed order: I will contact the shipping carrier as soon as I am notified by you that your order has not arrived.

In the unlikely event that I receive confirmation from USPS/UPS that your order is indeed lost, I will contact you. It will be your choice of a full refund (minus shipping costs) or to have replacement items made.

Delivery TIMEFRAMES: Once your item is given to the shipping carrier, I do not have any control over the TIMEFRAMES for your item to be delivered! If you require delivery by a specified date, please select the appropriate shipping method - such as express priority or priority mail.

UNDELIVERED Items: Items returned to me as undeliverable, due to wrong address, no forwarding address, not accepted at customs, non pickup at post office (after notification by USPS), etc --- WILL NOT be re-shipped unless the buyer pays new shipping charges. I will refund the item purchase price on your order (minus all shipping charges) upon request from the buyer.

Certain items - such as custom stitcheries with names/dates, scented potpourri and navy rating patch stitcheries will not be refunded due to being an UNDELIVERED item.

SHIPPING will be through the US Post Office or through United Parcel Service - whichever allows for the speediest delivery and the lowest shipping charges. Shipping method is determined by package size and weight.

Any overcharges in shipping costs are promptly refunded:

- when I receive the order and see that the shipping calculator has noticeably overcharged and/or
- after I've shipped your order.

INSURANCE is automatically added to all USPS and UPS shipments ($50/$100 respectively). I will add additional insurance to all orders necessary - above the standard amount provided by the shipping carrier. I (the shipper) will file all necessary insurance claims with the carrier - and provide you (the buyer) a replacement of your order or a refund for damaged or lost items.
