Ravens have been historically a good omen, a symbol of prophecy, a messenger of the gods, able to travel between the realm of Gods and men.
In Greek Mythology ravens are linked to god Apollo, and in Celtic beliefs they are linked to the goddess Morrigan, who was a prophetess. In Welch the hero Bran was keeper of the ancestral memories and renowned for his wisdom.
In Norse tradition, Odin the Allfather has 2 ravens as companions. Named Thought and Memory. They would fly out every day around the world and report back to Odin on the doings of men and gods alike.
These pendants are made from bone, and I decided to keep their look simple and primal, so I just added leather cords. The cords are 30 inches long and you can tie them at any length you wish.
