Vintage from the 1960s

Set of 10 unused vintage postage stamps from the 60s. This Beautification of America Issue stamp was issued to publicize President Lyndon Johnson’s “Plant for a More Beautiful America” campaign. The campaign was inspired by First Lady Lady Bird Johnson’s conservation and beautification efforts. The stamp features an image of the Jefferson Memorial, the Tidal Basin and cherry blossoms in Washington, DC.

This stamp is perfect to add a special touch for wedding invitations, RSVPs, save-the-dates, showers, or just sending pretty mail.
