I have a few brand-new copies left of this out-of-print quilt book published in 2007.
The book features 13 traditional quilt blocks commemorating the Civil War along the western borders. Each block is dedicated to a woman whose life was touched by the conflict. The series was designed as a Block of the Month with historical Civil War background about the Kansas City area.

You can make a sampler quilt or repeat the 14" blocks to make a Civil War reproduction quilt for a re-enactor or a fan of history, perfect for someone interested the border wars in Missouri and Kansas.

The book includes complete directions for a variety of quilts. We also included other stand-alone projects with applique and piecing. See the pictures above for quilts.
