Small hand-turned decorative vase, southwestern style, chinaberry wood

Small, hand-turned, chinaberry wood vase/pot with beautiful shades of wood from light yellow to a darker brown. The bowl was turned creating a ripple effect like a pebble being thrown creating a ripple of small to larger concentric rings. There is a beautiful iridescent quality in the lighter wood, which is not clearly seen in the photos. The vase has a slight decorative lip at the opening of the vase and a small bead around the base of the vase. The base is finished and signed by the artisan.

The vase is approximately 4 inches tall, the vase at it widest area is approximately 4 inches in diameter. The mouth opening was 2-1/8 inches in diameter, and the base is approximately 2-5/8 inches in diameter.

This little vase would make a beautiful display piece of a beautiful wedding or anniversary gift. The dried flower petals from a flower arrangement could be kept inside the vase as a keepsake.
