Description

About the "Behind the Fire Series": I began this painting series in early 2010. It features glass artists at work and illustrates their individual style. The series premiered at the Degenerate Flame Off on May 31st-June 2nd, 2013 at Cornerstone Glass (Eugene, OR).

This is an authorized giclée print produced on Ultrasmooth 100% Rag Fine Art paper, which is archival and acid free. This print will be shipped flat.

Details about this print:
Title: Jason Lee v2 (No. 24)
Artist: Tara Stanley
Original Painting Medium & Substrate: Acrylic on canvas
Original Painting Size: 11" x 14"
This 7.25" x 9.25" print is a numbered and signed print in a Limited Edition/First Run of 15.

What is a Giclée? Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) printing is a relatively new process for art reproduction. It requires digital input (scanning) of original art. Once this is done, the file is painstakingly color corrected. Proofs are made to produce a print that closely matches the original art . After the artist has approved the color, prints are made on a high resolution inkjet printer using fine art paper or canvas and archival inks.

Giclées are as permanent and lasting as any other work of art on paper. Proper framing is suggested for the prints. Flat dry storage will make the giclées last permanently. Use archival materials and matboard when framing. Matboard will keep the glass from touching it and UV filter/coated glass will help protect the inks. Avoid placing framed prints or any art on paper in direct sunlight, which can cause fading. The glass will slow the aging if you intend to spotlight the print.
