Returns and exchange details

It's very important to me that you are happy with your purchase. I try to be as accurate as possible with photos and descriptions, and to capture color and measurements. Please keep in mind that different monitors will display colors differently.

-- If there is a problem, please contact me within 3 days of delivery of your item and I will do my best to resolve it.

-- Returned items must be in unused condition and sent back within 7 days of receiving your order. Refunds will not be issued for any merchandise that is sent back to me after 7 days of receipt.

++ PLEASE NOTE: Stuffed Pumpkins requested in custom colors (colors other than orange, brown, and cream) are not eligible for a return/refund.

-- Please note: you are responsible for the shipping and handling charges of returning the merchandise to me.

-- A refund minus initial shipping costs will be issued promptly upon receipt of the merchandise.

-- Returned items showing signs of wear will not be issued a refund. This includes items with visible wear, hair or pet fur, stains, dirt or smells (body odor, smoke, etc). These items will be shipped back to you at my expense for your keeping and a refund will not be issued.


★ DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING:

If an order appears to have been damaged while in transit, I will require a picture of the item as well as the packaging; please don't throw it away until you've taken a picture! This will help me facilitate insurance proceedings if necessary.

Please note that I take photos of every piece before I package it for shipping to ensure that any damage done to the piece before it reaches its destination was done during the shipping process, and did not leave here already damaged.


★ REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS

If your purchase does not meet your expectations you may return it for either a replacement or a refund, minus shipping costs. Please contact me within three days of receipt of the item. See my refunds policy for Custom Items below.


★ CUSTOM ITEMS:

I do not offer refunds on custom pieces; however, I will replace a piece that was damaged in transit or does not meet reasonable expectations. The original piece must be returned to me before the replacement is sent.

++ PLEASE NOTE: Stuffed Pumpkins requested in custom colors (colors other than orange, brown, and cream) are not eligible for a return/refund.

When I have begun processing your order you will receive a notification from Etsy that your item is scheduled for shipment, with a tracking number. If there is a problem you will be notified immediately. All items are shipped USPS First Class unless Priority shipping is selected at checkout, or unless otherwise stated in the listing. Some heavier items must be sent Priority.

Under each listing's "Shipping & Policies" tab is an estimated ship time for made-to-order items. This shipping estimate is a conservative timeline, and many items may ship before the 3-5 days, or 1-2 weeks listed. Please keep in mind, however, that knit items are in high demand during the fall and winter months, and some items may need this extra time. Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you have any concerns.


★ PRIORITY SHIPPING:

USPS Priority shipping is an option available for US orders at checkout for an additional fee.

Purchasing a Priority shipping upgrade with your order does not speed up the production of the piece, which can take 3-5 days (or up to two weeks in the fall and winter months), it simply speeds up the shipping method once the piece is finished.

If a piece does not have the Priority shipping upgrade at checkout (some don't), please contact me and I will be happy to add it immediately.

★★ Please note that I do not refund Priority shipping fees if it takes longer than 2-3 days to reach you after the item has been shipped. The USPS does not guarantee a delivery within that time frame, and I can't either. Most shipments are delivered in a timely manner, but choosing Priority as an option is not a guarantee that it will reach you within 3 days.


★ TRACKING:

All orders are mailed with USPS tracking and the tracking number will be emailed to you; your account purchases page will also have this information: https://www.etsy.com/your/purchases

Shipping is done through the USPS First Class International Mail Service. Insurance and delivery confirmation may not be available with this service to most countries. The customs form tracking number may only notify you that it has left the US and, for many countries, no further tracking information is available. Please note that international orders can take 4-8 weeks to reach you. Countries with stricter customs procedures may take as long as 12 weeks.

-- Customers outside of the US are responsible for any customs fees, VAT, duty, taxes, handling fees and/or costs associated with international orders that your country levies. I do not reimburse for these fees and they are not part of my shipping costs.

-- All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms, and will be marked as merchandise -- no exceptions.

-- If a shipment is refused, I will refund it only once the package is received by me, less all shipping costs and any fees I may incur to get it back.

BABY KNITS: As with most baby items, please only use under adult supervision.

WASHING: Most items will state the best way to wash and dry within the item description. If you're in doubt, simply handwash with a mild detergent, gently wring out excess water, and lay the item flat on a towel to dry. Please contact me with any concerns.

If your order is being sent as a gift to someone else, I can wrap the piece in some tissue paper with a short note. This can be requested in the "Note to NevadaKnits" box at checkout.
I can generally customized any piece to be bigger or smaller, or change a color(s). Just drop me a note and we can work on it!
