Description

"These sweet buttons will look great on one of my handknitted sweaters. I can't wait to use them." - a sweet review from a buyer.

Hi! This reversible handmade polymer clay button was created with the Mokume Gane method of design. Primary colors are red, orange, yellow and navy blue. It measures 1-1/2" diameter and is a hair under 1/4" thick. Drilled holes are 1/8". The edges have been sanded, buffed and polished, feeling wonderfully smooth and soft. The underside is a galaxy of blue and red with some glittery stars embedded in the clay. You can use either side to complete your project. My buttons are usually used as embellishments for fiber projects like scarves, hats and purses and jewelry.

As with all handmade buttons, care should be taken to preserve their usefulness and appearance. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or caustic chemicals. Remove before dry cleaning or hand-wash with mild soap. Do not scrub. Don't try to "test" it's strength by bending it...it will break under too much pressure...they are not ceramic or glass. For normal respectful usage, they will perform just fine.

First Class shipping is free.

Your buttons are awesome. I probably should have ordered some without holes. I make bracelets, so I'm actually filling the holes and mounting holders underneath to hold the bracelet. I'll post a photo when I'm done. Your beads (buttons) are stunning as focals. Thank you so much.

Shipping policies

Shipping is free in the US only, unless customer wants to expedite or add insurance.

If you live outside the USA and would like to purchase any items, please send me a private message so I can calculate your postage and set up a reserved listing for you. International customers are responsible for any/all customs fees associated with purchasing my work. If you don't know what your country charges, please research ahead of time. Once your package leaves the US, it is out of the hands of the USPS and packages cannot be tracked from my end without considerable added expense. I have not had any international packages get lost yet, but I just want buyers to be aware that I won't refund your money because of a long delay in delivery or lost packages overseas.

I am an avid re-user of packing materials.

Lost or damaged packages must be reported to the USPS, as all sales are final. My high-end work will come with insurance, but lower priced ones do not. If you are concerned about the safety or treatment of your package, please ask me to add insurance to postage and I will create a reserved listing for you.
