Description

Made with amethyst gemstones that have not been heat treated or synthetically colored. These are 100% natural cut gemstones. They measure about 4mm in diameter. Each stone is unique in clarity and color. No two are exactly the same. I have hand sorted through them to find there best possible match.

The settings are a high quality vintage item that is no longer being made. The part that holds the stone is solid raw brass. Brass will darken slightly from being warn over time giving it a nice antique look. Brass is made from copper and zinc. (absolutely no nickel). The posts and backings are made from solid surgical steel. Surgical steel is non-allergenic and will not irritate sensitive skin.

This listing is for one pair of earrings.

Side note:
A nice thing about solid brass is that you can clean it back to its original shine as many times as you want and not have to worry about damaging the outer layer of the metal.

My personal favorite way to clean these earrings is with a little baking soda, a dot of soap, and some water. Just rub the mixture in your palms for about a minute and they instantly look brand new! The baking soda is abrasive enough to polish away the dark spots, but not strong enough to damage the stones.
