This is a very lovely pattern! Instructions are detailed and clear with helpful pictures; works up to such a gorgeous blanket!! I made this for my own baby boy, still in the tummy. I wish I'd known about this shop for my first son - the blankets I made for him aren't nearly so intricately pretty as this one, lol.

When i started this pattern was not to sure i liked the look, but when I finished it I loved it, it's now one of my favorite patterns. I used a size 4 worsted weight yarn and a g hook and I think it worked perfect
