Our custom made-to-order reclaimed wood Music CD Storage Holder. These cubbies are now available from our Texas home decor department. Organize those piles of CDs stacked around your living room, den and storage closets with this vintage style cubby. Each cubby hole opening is designed to fit standard CD cases and measures approximately 6" high x 5" wide x 5.5" deep on the inside. This is slightly larger than standard music CD height and depth, and approximately 5 and 1/2 inches of CDs (or 13 CD's in cases) can be placed in each cubby hole.

You can stack the CDs either upright or laying flat (some prefer flat as you can read the titles more easily).

We offer 28 different variations of this music CD storage holder cubby featuring a 6" high x 5" wide x 5.5" deep cubby hole. Choose from 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 cubby holes high and 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 cubby holes wide. You get to choose the number of cubbies placed vertically and horizontally. NOTE: The "Cubby Hole Layout" drop down menu located in the upper right hand corner of the page refers to the number and configuration of cubbyholes, NOT to the size of the cubby!

So for example, a 4H x 5W cd rack would have 4 cubbyholes (top to bottom) by 5 cubbyholes (left side to right side) for a total of 20 cubbyholes, a 2H x 4W would have 8 cubbyholes, etc.

Our cubbies are very sturdy and finely crafted and are designed to resemble vintage crates. The horizontal and vertical dividers are interlocked and inset slightly, and may have a very slight bit of “give” to them (similar to what you would find in a vintage coke crates). Even if the interlocked dividers are not absolutely rigid this does not affect the structural integrity of the cubby.

Each music CD storage holder cubby comes with attached hardware for hanging on a wall. The cubby can also be placed on a table or on the floor (we suggest it be attached to a wall for stability). Instructions for attaching to different wall types are also included.

Our wooden display cubbies are hand made in Texas of enviro-friendly old wood that has been recycled. Depending on reclaimed wood inventory we have at any given time, there will be variations in the thickness (which is why all measurements are approximate), in the imperfections (some pieces are more rustic than others), and in the coloring of the wood (most of it will vary from grey to brown).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Cubbies with 5 ½” depth cubbyholes have horizontal shelves that are approximately 3 ½” deep. There is a gap of approximately 2” behind the shelf (please see photos) within the cubbyhole. This is important to note if you are using this cubby for holding something other than music CDs.

We occasionally get people asking if we can make even larger cubbies than what we offer here. We can make them but we don't offer them and here's why: oversize charges for shipping a big cubby are REALLY expensive (think double the price of your cubby). So, we highly recommend buying two or more cubbies (then stacking or placing side by side) to get that larger Music CD shelf capacity and without the shipping shock.
