Life Pendant Tutorial - Chainmaille Tutorial - Intermediate Chainmaille Pendant Tutorial

Item details

Digital download (2 PDF)

The Life Pendant, an original design by Victoria Sol (me!), has become well known for its simple elegance and unusual form. In this tutorial you will learn how to make it yourself, so that you too can wear this abstract pendant, or perhaps give it to someone you care about!

The tutorial includes the ring sizes you need, as well as detailed step-by-step instructions with clear pictures.

The ring sizes used in this tutorial are uncommon sizes. I offer kits in my shop (in the Kits and Supplies section), or the tutorial details where you can buy bulk rings.

The tutorial and design are copyrighted by Victoria Sol, however you are free to sell the pieces you make with this tutorial.

This is a digital download. Once payment is confirmed, you will be able to download two PDF documents with all the necessary information. If you get stuck, please do not hesitate to send me a message on Etsy, or email me at victoriasol [!at]

You can also buy the finished pendant, available here:

I am always happy to accept custom orders. Destai's raison d'être is to make jewellery and accessories for everyone, regardless of preferences, size, or other things that may affect items. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to enquire about something custom made.
I include a rough size in every listing, but some chainmaille weaves can be thicker than expected. If you're uncertain about whether something will fit you, please do not hesitate to ask.

The easiest way to measure your wrist or neck is to take a piece of string, wrap it around your wrist/neck at a comfortable circumference and measure the length of that.
All of my aluminium (both bright and anodised) items, EPDM rubber items, and stainless steel items can be cleaned easily with hot water and soap. I recommend a dishwashing detergent of the "original" type (rather than scented), as this gives the best shine.

My copper and copper alloy items (such as brass and bronze) can be cleaned with a lightly acidic solution, such as lemon juice, or with commercial cleaners.
Most of my items, save keychains, are packaged in branded gift boxes. I have a picture in my "About" section. The keychains are wrapped in bubble wrap. Gift boxes and bubble wrapped items are then put into bubble envelopes and sealed with a sticker and sticky tape.

If you'd like gift wrapping, I can wrap the gift box in tissue paper at request. Please leave a note of this in the comment box at checkout, or send me a message.

I do not include a receipt by default. If you'd like a paper receipt, please request this in the comment box at checkout or in a message.
