Maiden Hera Girdle Belt in antique silver

A timeless piece that lends itself to multiple eras, the Maiden Hera girdle belt is enduringly classic. Gleaming silver accents glint and twinkle vividly in the light. Stylized four petal floral elements form the continuous length, all connected with stainless steel links. The Maiden Hera belt suggests a graceful style, understated and chic.

This belt is a continuous length designed with a 12" drop and closes with a hook clasp. If you prefer a longer drop length, simply move up one or more sizes, as each size up adds 5” of length to the belt.

Belt is approximately 1-1/8" wide. Please keep in mind that the length of the front drop will vary slightly depending upon your body measurement. This belt is designed to be worn loosely between the waist and hip.

My sizing scale is not based upon normal clothing sizes. When ordering items such as belts, chains, and livery collars, it is highly recommended that you measure before ordering. Don’t have a tape measure? You can use a ruler or another object with a known length and a piece of string. Or you can search the internet for “printable tape measure”, print it out, tape/glue together, and measure away.

4 Easy steps for a proper fitting belt:
1. Put on your costume, or a garment with a similar amount of bulk
2. Determine where you will wear your belt (at your waist or lower on your hips?)
3. Measure the part of your body where the belt will lay.
4. Use the following size scale when ordering

20-25" = 2xSmall
25-30" = xSmall
30-35" = Small
35-40" = Medium
40-45" = Large
45-50" = xLarge
50-55" = 2xLarge
55-60" = 3xLarge
60-65" = 4xLarge
65-70" = 5xLarge

For reference, here are the measurements for my most commonly used props:

Fanny (light blue dress) & Matilda (dark blue dress) female mannequin measurements are: 34” bust, 24” waist, 34” hip, 14” shoulders

Manny (male torso) mannequin measurements: 16” neck and 20” over the collar, 17” shoulders, 37” chest, 34” waist

Hettie (head & shoulders) mannequin measurements: 22” head circumference with wig, 13” neck


Quality comes first at Many Moons Emporium. Each item is expertly handcrafted using quality materials. However, it should be noted that these items are intended to be worn decoratively. Belts specifically, should not be worn for utilitarian purposes (i.e. used to hold up one's pants or hang a tankard from) unless described for such purposes. Doing so may result in damage to the belt. Further, accessories should be worn as recommended. When wearing items such as belts, necklaces, bracelets, etc., the fit should be loose and comfortable in order to prevent damage while crouching, bending, twisting, etc. These items are adjustable to ensure a proper fit for bodies of all shapes and sizes. Costume jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Make sure you’ve applied any makeup, perfume, cologne, lotions, oils, hairspray, etc. and have given them time to dry before putting on your jewelry. Avoid wet, damp, and humid conditions if possible, removing your jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, washing dishes, etc. Commercial jewelry cleaners, chemicals, and even the pH of your skin can induce a chemical reaction causing color changes. Clean, dry thoroughly, and store your costume jewelry in an air tight container.
