I compiled this cookbook for an online community of homesteaders who love to cook from scratch. If you're interested in providing your family with home-cooked meals, then this is the cookbook for you. Along with the usual recipes like soups, salads, and main dishes, I have included recipes for many of the items you buy every week at the grocery store. Condiments, sauces, dressings, seasoning mixes – you name it! Learn to make these from scratch and you are just one step closer to being a homesteader. Even if you're not interested in homesteading, you still all have to eat, right? You're sure to find something you like.
For more information and sample recipes, check out my website: www.piecesofthepastcookbook.com
I also have cooking tips sprinkled throughout the pages and special informative sections on things like:
* Flours, Grains, and Meals
* Gluten Free Foods
* Bone Broth
* Slow Cooker Basics
* Using Powdered Milk
* Conversion Charts
* Making nut butters
* Soaking and Sprouting Nuts and Grains ...and more!
This is a great gift for the newbie homesteader or the new bride! Over 400 pages of recipes, tips, and information!
*Note: This item will be shipped from the printer and it might take a few days. This avoids having to pay shipping costs to me and then to you. It takes about 3 days for the printing and then more for shipping. I can't control that aspect, but I will place the order the day you make the purchase. I do believe you'll find that it's worth the wait. Thanks for understanding.
I also have a PDF download version available that is handy for Kindle or iBooks. Great to have at the grocery store! This version looks just like the print version, but it's an instant download to your PC, iPad, or smartphone. This is a great option for international buyers since shipping costs are high to locations outside of the U.S.
My official Kindle version makes it easier to access recipes from the Index, so check it out on Amazon. But be informed that it doesn't have the homestead photographs that my PDF download version has.
