This memory painting is being offered in 3 sizes, 11x14, 16x20 and 24x30. There is a choice of mat (or no mat) for only the 2 smaller sizes. If you want to custom frame the 24x30, then the exact image size is 24x31.25.
The size listed is the size frame you need. When you choose no mat for your archival print, the image size is LARGER than the matted print for the same size frame. E.G. 11x14 ---> with mat image is ~8x10.5, and without mat image is ~10.5x13.5 For the 16x20 ---> with mat image is ~11x15 and without mat image is ~15.5 x19.5, both sizes fit into a 16x20 frame.
Both 11x14 and 16x20 (with mat) also come with backing and in a clear cellophane bag to protect the archival print until it's framed.
The 16x20 without a mat can ship flat or rolled. There's no backing when it's shipped rolled. All these prints need to be framed under glass.
The 24x30 only comes with no mat, and is shipped rolled into a tube. The 24x30's image size is ~24 x 31.25 which fits into a 24x30 frame, and looks best if the frame is 2"+ wide. It can also be custom framed so the image is 24x31.25. It's a great size for your large office at work and gets lots of attention. The frame you buy needs to have backing, plus glass, so the frame "mats" the print, like it would when framing a poster. You can also get a mat made and put it in a larger frame. it's up to you.
Any of the 3 sizes can be personalized by adding up to 3 signs Contact artist when ordering to tell her the sign information. Personalizing the 11x14 (with or without a mat) or the 16x20 with a mat, is free. There is a charge of $10 for personalizing/shipping the 16x20 without a mat or the 24x30 without a mat.
All 3 frame sizes are standard & commonly available so it's easy to frame yourself in a frame under glass or you can take it to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or your favorite local frame shop to be framed.
On the 16x20 mat, some people have friends/family sign the mat before framing ... even black mats can be signed in silver or gold ink. This is appropriate for retirement gifts and graduation gifts.
