These super fun crocodile costume pieces are hand cut and machine stitched to be extra sturdy and stylish. The elastic is stitched inside the two layers of felt so you don't have any scratchy, raw edges. The mask itself is 20-21 inches and will stretch with the elastic for a good fit for kids 5 and up. If you're ordering for a younger child, let me know so I can shorten the elastic for you!

The site where I purchase my wool uses local farmers to supply the wool made in the US. Wool felt is naturally non flammable, and is great for sensitive skin conditions, making it a perfect material to use for children's toys and costumes. Not to mention, it is so luxurious and nice, and will last for a very long time. Wool is not machine washable, and therefore must be dry cleaned or it will shrink and warp when washed. If you choose wool felt, the tails will be stuffed with raw organic cotton.
**Ecofelt is made using post consumer plastic bottles, and is great from that point of view. It is made in the USA, is machine washable, and is very affordable. It is flammable, so great care must be taken to stay away from flame. The plastics used to make the felt may linger in the fabric after it has been made, so it could irritate sensitive skin. For those wanting to stay away from animal products, ecofelt is a good alternative. If you choose ecofelt, the tails will be stuffed with hypoallergenic polyfill.

The items arrived on time. They were for my son's 6th birthday and he ADORES them. He wears them constantly. They're comfortable and fit nicely with some room to grow / adjustability in the breastplate.
