FAQs

Q: Can you change the size of pieces?

A: That depends... Sizes are listed in the description box of each listing.

Some pieces, such as chain necklaces, are listed with the option to ask for a sizing change in the Message to Seller box at checkout.

Other pieces, made with nylon-coated stainless steel bead wire, are generally sold only in the size described, unless otherwise noted. Some of these pieces can be lengthened using jump rings or extensions. Please ask via Etsy message before purchase.

If you like a piece, but it does not come in the size you want, Request a Custom Order on that listing. I will work together with you via Etsy messages and send photos of your piece in progress to create a piece like it in the size you want.
Q: Do you make custom orders?

A: Yes! I love making custom orders and will include you in every step of the design process! I will communicate with you via Etsy messages and send photos of your piece in progress to keep you updated.

I will ship custom pieces within 2 weeks of when you start your order.
Please let me know if you need it sooner. I want you to love your new piece(s), so please allow enough time for me to make it/them and try to order as soon as possible.

Example: if you have an event that you would like the piece for, try to order 2 weeks prior to the event to allow for creation and shipping.
Q: Many of your pieces have hook and eye or toggle clasps. How can I know that they are secure?

A: I test-wear my pieces during normal and more intensive activities to determine the security of each clasp. These activities include bending, lifting, jumping, jogging, and dancing while wearing the piece, as well as a full normal work day (walking, leaning, bending, lifting).

If a clasp is not secure, I tweak or change it until it is, then re-test the piece. I then list the item.

If you are still concerned about the security of the clasp, you can message me to ask about it. I may be able to change the clasp to one that you are more comfortable with, or create a custom piece like the one you are interested in using a lobster clasp.
Q: Will you make pieces with profanity, nudity, or vulgar images/words?

A: No.
Q: Do you offer gift wrapping and packaging?

A: Yes. If you would like gift wrapping, special packaging, or a personalized note, please request these items at checkout and include details of what you would like. Due to the packaging and increased weight of gift-wrapped items, gift wrapping may slightly increase the price of the item(s).
Q: Can I buy more than one of each item? Do you make duplicate and multiple pieces?

A: I create unique jewelry pieces, so if an item is listed as a single item, it is the only one of its kind. However, some listings, such as Rainbow Cancer Awareness Pins, do have the option to purchase more than one of the same item. I can make duplicates of custom orders, for example, a bridal party necklace set. I enjoy making variations in matching pieces so they are not perfectly alike, but I can make perfectly matching pieces, if desired. Please request a custom order if you are interested in duplicate or multiple pieces.
Q: What do I do if an item arrives broken or damaged?

A: I have not yet had any complsints of broken or damaged items, but if your item does arrive broken or damaged, please snap a photo of the damaged item and message it to me on Etsy with a description of the item's condition. You can then send back the damaged item and I will salvage any non-damaged pieces to remake it. I will then ship it back to you with free shipping.
Q: I want an item, but I'm not ready to purchase it yet, what can I do?

A: If you would like to purchase an item, but are not ready to purchase it yet, you can message me on Etsy to request a reservation. I will add "RESERVED for (your name)" to the title and description, and you can purchase the item within one week. If you choose not to purchase the item or do not get back to me within a week, I will remove the reservation. You may still purchase the item if it is available, but there will not be a guarantee that it will be there.
Q: Can I purchase an item that is marked RESERVED for another person?

A: Technically, yes. However, please be kind to the RESERVED for person and do not purchase an item that is reserved for someone else. If you do purchase a reserved item, that item may not be available due to an in-person sale, or pending transaction. I will issue you a refund and offer a custom order, or you can purchase another item, instead. The person has one week to complete the transaction before I unreserve the item. Then, it is up for grabs again.
Q: How do I pay for a custom order?
A: I request that custom items be paid in full up front. This allows me to purchase the materials I will need to create your item(s). If you are unable to pay all of your order up front, please contact me and I may allow an "Other" checkout via PayPal. I will then invoice you via PayPal for half of the full order price, and set a date for the other half to be paid. The order must be paid in full before I will ship the item(s). I do not accept cancellations on custom orders (Please see FAQ). If you do not complete payment for your custom order within the date set, and after one reminder, you will forfeit your down payment and I will list the item for general sale. Please message me, in order to avoid this.
