Description

"Pyrus," limited edition archival fine art print
17 x 22 inches, sheet size, (image size 15.5 x 15.5") in an edition of 100
8.5 x 11 inches, sheet size, (image size 7.25 x 7.25") in an edition of 100

"Pyrus" is a limited edition fine art print created from a process that blends my original photography, mixed media, and digital alchemy. Coming from a background in traditional printmaking, I bring a love of analog texture and paper and ink to all of my work, whether it is digital, mixed media or pure painting. This print is not a reproduction of a painting, but a contemporary print in which the print itself is the only form in which the artwork exists.

This print is part of a series called "The Gardener's Almanac of Irreproducible Phenomena" in which I attempt to capture the mysteries of my garden as it moves through the seasons. This print is a study of the Japanese Pear Apple in my garden in autumn, when it is at its loveliest.

The finished piece is meticulously proofed and printed on bright white archival paper with pigment inks rated to last for 100 years or more. The prints come with a certificate of authenticity verifying the edition number and the edition size. "Anemone in Spring" is available in two sizes:

These prints are traditionally numbered and signed in light pencil with the number on the left and the signature on the right, just below the image. They can be framed with or without a mat. The small botanicals are sized to fit Aaron Brothers Signature Frames, but can also work in Ikea frames or others with a more vertical proportion. Pictures show only approximate proportions and prints are sold unframed.

Packaging Detail: The large print is shipped rolled in a sturdy mailing tube with a protective sheet for easy removal. The small print is shipped flat in a sturdy cardboard mailer.

This is a beautiful magical piece! There is almost a silvery shimmer to some of the greys. The print arrived very quickly and in perfect shape. I took it in to be framed today and can't wait to hang it in my home.

Absolutely love Iskra's art, the little print I've purchased for my client office gets a lot of attention, the composition, the colors. Beautiful. Will buy again.

"November, Heron" is the second print I've purchased from Iskra's shop. I loved "Anenome in Spring" so much that I decided I needed another. Both shipments arrived in pristine condition and on the promised date. I've framed them and everyone that visits my home loves them both. Iskra is easy to order from and her prints are a delight. I highly recommend this seller!
