HERE IS A SAMPLE of my work from my portfolio. Your soft pastel painting will be very similar to this German Shepherd titled, "HARRY". I took the photo with the non-glare glass on so it does appear a little blurred because of that, but the artwork is clear and detailed. The watermark will not appear on your original painting.

"HARRY" measures 16" x 20" and is an ORIGINAL, Soft (Chalk) Pastel painting. Signed by the artist, Robin Grigsby, copyrighted and dated. Painted on professional illustration board, it is matted and framed in a 3 inch burnt umber, wooden frame with a non-glare glass. This is a SAMPLE of my work only. This painting is not for sale and has already been spoken for. Please respect all copyrights. Thank you for viewing "HARRY".

HOW DO I GET A PORTRAIT DONE OF MY PET?

Step 1. Contact me first, here on Etsy, before purchasing.
Step 2. Send some crisp photos and some close ups if you have them.
Step 3. Let's talk about your photos and the painting, like special instructions.
Step 4. I will begin the work. It usually take a few weeks to complete.
Step 5. You will approve the work. I'll send a photo of what I've painted via Etsy convos.
Step 6. I will create a Reserved Llisting for you, so you can purchase your painting.
Step 7. I then ship your painting to you, very carefully packaged with tracking numbers.

PHOTOS TO SEND: Please provide a high quality, crisp photos of your pet. One that fills the majority of the photo will work if it is clear. If you take your own photo of your pet, try to get eye level for a better view, opposed to an aerial view. If you email me your photos, try to use a high resolution so I can zoom in to get all the details of your precious darling. Please allow a few weeks for completion of your pet portrait. I send emails and photos of the finished work, and give you time to approve it. I won't start on your painting until I receive your photos.

TIP: Always keep Pastel paintings out of direct sunlight to insure perfect color over time. Frame them behind a non-glare glass using a mat and frame to your liking. The shiny side of the non-glare glass should be against the mat therefore creating a space between it and the glass.

PRICE: $144.00 (16” x 20” Pet Portrait in Soft Pastel, one animal, Unmated, Unframed)
