You could call this vintage gadget the original food processor. Known as the Universal Chopper, this one is model # 323 and made of heavy cast iron. It was made by L.F. & C.New Britain, Conn USA and weighs more than 4 pounds.

Almost all of the early 1900's grinders clamped to the side of a table to allow room to crank the handle off the edge.

The grinding unit measures 10" tall. The steel handle with wooden grip is 8". Wing nuts hold the grinding assembly together and there is one cutting wheel. A nice addition to your vintage kitchen collection. This is a working meat grinder and can be used for grinding meat.

This item is vintage in nature.
