Description

Headband, Handknit, Turquoise Leafy Lace. Hand-dyed Merino Wool Yarn and Silver Tone Button Closure. A Beautiful Handmade Hair Accessory.

I used a pretty leafy vein pattern and gorgeous hand-dyed merino wool to knit this lovely headband. The back closure is a vintage metalized plastic silver tone button (stabilized on the opposite side of the fabric by a clear plastic button). It will fit teens and small to large adult heads. It can also be worn over the hair, across the forehead, for a hippie look.

There is one button and there are two button holes to fit various head sizes, and please remember it will stretch a little to fit properly. Unstretched, when buttoned, the headband circumferences are at 18" and 19"; for reference, I have a 22" head and the fit is great on the 19" buttonhole.

This listing is for one turquoise headband. In the past I've made this headband in other colors, and I am happy to take custom orders and any color requests! Send me a conversation here on Etsy if you're interested, and we can chat about what is available. For instance, I currently also have enough of this same hand-dyed merino wool in: 1) a muted rainbow with black speckles and a 2) a really gorgeous, slightly bluish purple. Returns and exchange details

***Every effort is made to send items safely.

With the exception of items that have arrived damaged in the mail (a most unlikely event), or if you find the item is not what you ordered (in which case, please message me and we will work it out), all sales are final. Thanks for your understanding!***

Shipping policies

United States: I will ship USPS First Class (with tracking). After checkout and payment, there is a 1-3 day processing time (so I can get your items well-packed and off in the mail), followed by approximately 3-5 days until you get your Miss Prism Presents handmade items!

If ordering multiple items, you will be charged regular shipping on one item, and only $0.50 shipping for each additional item (this information previously appeared on an individual item's listing page under Shipping, and was thus clearer; but Etsy's format changed, and now it is not seen until checkout).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Outside US: I ship USPS First Class Mail International. This includes delivery confirmation. Please note that some countries require an additional customs fee once it arrives in your country, which you will need to pay to retrieve your item(s). Please be aware of this when ordering.

Additional policies

Miss Prism Presents uses high-end yarns, but they are mostly not machine-washable yarns, and a few items have beads and/or crystals. Gentle hand-wash and lie flat to dry only, please. If there is an exception to this, I will note it on the listing page.

Flowers and stars on metal headbands, and other three-dimensional items: It's best to not to bend these too much to try to ship them flat, so they will be shipped in boxes that allow them to hold their shape.

I would love to make a custom order for you (other colors, other yarns)! Let me know what idea you have by sending me a "conversation" here on Etsy (Etsy's e-mail).
