Description

[ ABOUT ]
For all the Whovians out there - here is the Sixth Doctor in paper pieced form - Colin Baker. This pattern stems from a collaboration between me (Laura Hogg of The Joyful Fox) and Kristy Lea of Quiet Play. With my permission and encouragement, Kristy has translated my Doctor Who designs into paper pieced patterns - for all the quilty Doctor Who fans out there!

Kristy and I would love to see the results of your quilting endeavors! If you use any of these patterns, please be sure to tag both of us on Instagram (@thejoyfulfox and @quietplay) and use the hashtag #quiltydrwho :)

[ DETAILS ]
This foundation pieced pattern is for the Sixth Doctor. The pattern makes a 12" block.

Due to the nature of the pattern, these patterns do have a lot of pieces involved, but tends to look more complicated than what it actually is. There are no y-seams in this. Skill level for this block would be advanced.

Paper piecing instructions are not included. Each section is clearly labelled and seam allowance has been added for each section. All you need to do is print it out and away you go :) I suggest that you print to "Actual size".

Example shown by @mischief_unmanaged on Instagram!

[ SIZING ]
The pattern makes a 12" block.
