Description

these super tiny cowskull pins can add a great detail to a simple outfit, or and interesting display piece. you can wear one individually or get them both and have one on each lapel! they also add a great southern flare without the actual cow skull ;)
the steel pin is glued on very securely, so it will not come loose! the backing is also a nice snug fit, i've personally worn one of my pins all day and it didn't budge. still, i wouldn't recommend wearing it if you will be doing any kind of hard labor, because it's still made of ceramic.

THE PROCESS //
• before making a piece i sketch out a design and pick some colors and patterns to suit the piece.
• i then hand-sculpt the ideas out of porcelain clay! once they are dry (around 24-48 hours later)...
• they are then bisque fired to about 2000 degrees fahrenheit in order to strengthen the clay.
• they are then individually painted with glaze, then fired again to over 2000 degrees to make the glaze melt like glass.
• once they are glazed and shiny, i paint the accents with a gold luster chemical, and they are fired once more to burn off the residue in the luster and leave behind a very thin layer of gold.

please check out my shop policies and shipping info before purchasing!

A very sweet dinosaur pendant in a lovely soft mint, my partner recognized it for a brontosaurus straight away when I showed it to him.
Thank you for a lovely purchase!

My favorite necklace! So sweet and dainty 💚 and the attention to detail is phenomenal. It came on a lovely chain, the nicest I've received with a pendant. I really appreciate your craft!

custom orders:
at the moment i am inclined to say i can not take custom orders. the process of creating and firing a piece can take days, and i like to make sure i have a lot of pieces to fill the kiln with before firing, so it can take me a few weeks just to finish one batch of items.
however, if you are able to wait 1-2 months for a custom order to be finished, then contact me and maybe we can work something out!
