Lamb with striped jumper - Handpainted Blue Delft porcelain Brooch
Description
This hand formed porcelain brooch of a lamb is decorated in the traditional Dutch Delft technique using a tiny little bit of cobalt oxide under as under-glaze. It is finished with a strong transparent glaze so the natural color of the porcelain shows. Fired at 2300 degrees Fahrenheit or 1250 Celsius.
The brooch measures 2.3 x 2 inches or 6x 5 cm

This porcelain heart is so lovely on so many levels. The cobalt blue is striking and the design is wonderful. The shape of the heart is just right! This porcelain heart is such a gem in any room. Harriet also included a beautiful little heart pendant too. This was unexpected and truly sweet.
