Description

Henry Moore Limited Edition Lithograph in color. Proofed on the Presses of Ganymed in Berlin. Of a Numbered Limited Edition out of 180. The sketch was created by Henry Moore during the bombings on WWII and the presentation was supervised by Moore in a limited edition production. Fully authenticated catalogue referenced by Cramer (c85) of which is included with artwork. Artwork comes with Gallery Prepared Documentation, which includes Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and Prepared Catalogue Reference (c85), hand signed justification copy and Provenance.

At the outbreak of the Second World War the Chelsea School of Art was evacuated to Northampton and Moore resigned his teaching post. During the war, Moore produced powerful drawings of Londoners sleeping in the London Underground while sheltering from the Blitz.

Professionally framed. Displayed in a All Wood gallery finish moulding w/ Crescent RagMat™ mat board on acid free backing and viewed behind Tru Vue Museum Glass. (Framing Retails at $419). We only use the highest quality materials for the preservation and protection of our artworks and If you are not happy with the moulding we are willing to work with the designer on your behalf to match your aesthetic needs.
