My wreaths are made from polystyrene wreath forms which are carefully covered in a range of materials, depending on the customer's taste: from ribbon, to jute twine, to wool yarn, to cotton t-shirt yarn. Floral elements, leaves and embellishments are then cut and created by hand using a quality wood blend felt and secured into the wreath base. The wreaths can then be hung using ribbon or twine to match the details or colours of the wreath itself.
The sort of wreath shown has become my signature design as it is roughly 1/3 covered in mixed flowers, which can been at the bottom of on the edge of the wreath depending on where you put the hanger.
About my wreaths
1. Wreaths are made by hand, to order
Each wreath is carefully handmade made to order in my workshop in Redhill, Surrey to customer specifications, usually based loosely on previous designs and template ideas.
If you order a replica wreath based on a previous design, please bear in mind your creation may vary slightly from what you can see on the picture, because all of them are unique and made to order.
If you like my wreaths but you would to change the colour or you have some ideas how to customise them for yourself please contact me. I am more than happy to bring your creative ideas to life as well. I’m really happy to collaborate and make sure the colour and design of your wreath is perfect for you.
3. Lead time
Depending on the number of orders I’m currently processing, please allow 2-3 weeks for your purchased item to be finished. It will be ready, beautifully packaged and posted or delivered by hand within this timeframe.
The wreaths come in two standard sizes. If you are interested in a custom size which differs from those shown, do ask and I’ll see what I can do.
A ribbon or twine hanging loop (approx 15cm long) will be attached to the wreath on the top so it can be hung easily on your door. Depending on your door furniture, you may also need a wreath hanging hook on the door, or (as they are so lightweight) often a small screw or pin will suffice.
6. Protecting your wreath
You can obviously put your wreath on an outside door, but if you do not have a porch or cover of some kind, clearly it will be at the mercy of our, often unpredictable, weather conditions. We recommend a coating of Scotchgard spray for fabric or similar, which will give some protection against harsher weather including damp or sun damage. This can be provided for a small additional charge.
7. Not suitable for children
This wreath is for decorative purposes only, and contains glue and sharp metal pins (which are embedded in the wreath base, so are not normally harmful) so do keep it out of reach of little fingers!
