Remarkable primitive brass and wrought iron footed pot, completely hand forged and quite heavy. We purchased this at a Paris flea market but we are unsure of it's original origin, this piece could easily be Portuguese, Spanish or French. More then likely the handle was used to hang in an interior cooking fireplace, and the feet were used when the pot would be sat in the hot embers to cook. Please note that this piece is heavy...it had to be to handle the heat of a fire! As always, we will reimburse for any overcharges in shipping...

A wonderful colletible piece...great for display in your kitchen with spoons, olive oil bottles or condiments...or sensational with a green shiny plant.

We are leaving it in it's original condition, but quite certain the brass would clean up beautifully, and the wrought iron handle would love a dose of olive oil on it!

Measurements: 5 1/2" tall x 9" wide,
with handle raised, 10" tall
