All products are handmade in Missouri!

Regency Soapworks takes pride in creating high quality products using high quality natural ingredients. I have researched and studied each ingredient to create a soap recipe that makes a hard bar of soap that lasts longer and is moisturizing, cleansing, lathering, and conditioning. It has taken a lot of time and much trial and error but customer satisfaction was worth the hard work. Because of this I know that my bar soap and other products are some of the best there is. Each recipe is tested for quality and enjoyment.

I am the sole producer of my products and each item is made from scratch. My soap is all natural and made using the cold process method of mixing sodium hydroxide (lye) with oils and butters to create a chemical reaction called saponification. After saponification occurs and the soap has cured there is no lye left. I let my soap cure for a full six weeks to ensure it is a really hard bar of soap. I recommend to all my customers to store their soap in a soap saver dish away from water and steam. The best one to use is one that can hang or attach to the wall opposite from your shower head. This way the soap can evenly dry on all sides. Never store your soap in a puddle of water.

Each bar of soap is made from natural oils and butters that are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that are essential to healthy skin. Everyone wants to have healthy, moisturized skin and this is the way to achieve it. Most people don’t even need lotion after switching to homemade soap. The difference between store bought and homemade soap is that the glycerin is left in the soap. This helps to moisturize your skin. I also leave 5% of excess oils and butters in my soap to give them an extra conditioning effect. Store bought soap isn’t actually soap but detergent.

A little information about our ingredients:

Olive Oil: low slippery lather, little cleansing but very mild and nourishing. Great for people with sensitive skin

Rice Bran Oil: this oil provides medium lather and mild cleansing, and moisturizing

Coconut Oil: provides lots of lather, large fluffy bubbles, very cleansing and makes a hard bar of soap

RSPO Palm Oil: I use only responsibly sourced palm oil, provides mild lather but helps create a hard and long lasting soap

Shea Butter: creates a lotion like feel, very moisturizing, helps to make a hard and long lasting soap

Avocado Oil: loaded with vit E and other vitamins and minerals, mild cleansing, very moisturizing

Castor Oil: it works with the other oils and butters to create lots of long lasting bubbles and lather

Sodium Hydroxide: (lye) you can’t have soap without lye. This is your alkaline salt needed to create the saponification reaction to create soap

Distilled Water: to ensure only the purest and cleanest water is used

Sodium Lactate: the sodium from lactic acid is used to make a hard and long lasting bar of soap

Tussah Silk: silk fibers from the Tussah silkworm are gathered from the cocoon of a caterpillar when it is done with it. This comes from a cruelty free silkworm farm. How cool is that?! It gives your soap shine, more lather and a silky feeling

Colloidal Oatmeal: finely ground oatmeal powder is perfect for sensitive skin and is both healing and moisturizing

White Kaolin Clay: this clay is mild and helps to lock in scent as well as being gentle for your skin

Buttermilk: buttermilk powder provides a creamy and moisturizing feeling to your soap

Colorants: I mostly use micas but will occasionally use ultramarines. I use all natural powders in the goats milk soap

Scent: I use essential oils from a wholesale distributor who does 3rd party testing. All the fragrances I use are phthalate free and skin safe.
