Welcome, Friends!

I’m thrilled to offer these signed, limited-edition prints of Eragon's sword, Brisingr. This piece of art originally appeared in the deluxe edition of Inheritance in late 2012.

For years I had wanted to draw this image. Creating it, however, was challenging. Because of time constraints and my crazy schedule, I ended up drawing it while on tour in Europe, in hotel rooms and riding in airplanes bouncing around the sky. To get reference photos for the flames rising off the blade, I bought a bottle of absinthe in Barcelona and lit some in my hotel bathtub.

Once my tour ended, I was able to put the final touches on the piece. It’s a treat to finally be able to share this gorgeous print with you. I hope you enjoy it!

Some relevant stats:

Paper: Baryta, semi-glossy, archival
Size: 9 15/16" x 14" (including white border)
Number of prints in this run: 50
Signed: yes

Thank you again for your support and . . .

May your swords stay sharp!

Christopher Paolini
