Description

This ceramic Jewish mezuzah can be a perfect Jewish wedding gift or housewarming gift. Each of our modern mezuzah cases, just like all other Judaica art pieces, are one of a kind handmade items. Therefore, the item you see in the pictures is the exact item that you get!

The Mezuzah case is made of stoneware clay and lead free glaze; it measures 6" X 1 1/2" (15.5 X 3.5 cm), and can hold a parchment measuring 4 1/2" (11.5 cm).
Shipped in a beautiful gift box.

Please note: parchment not included.

A few words about the Mezuzah in Jewish tradition:
A mezuzah (from Hebrew: "doorpost") is a spiritual object that is affixed to the doorframe of Jewish homes. A piece of parchment, that is rolled up and placed inside the Mezuzah decorative case, is inscribed with specified Hebrew verses from the Bible. The parchment is prepared by a qualified scribe who has undergone many years of meticulous training, and the verses are written in black indelible ink with a special quill pen.
I recommend using screws, rather than nails, to attach the ceramic Mezuzah to the door frame to avoid damaging the piece while attaching it.

Due to different computer monitors/calibrations colors may vary slightly from the pictures.
