This blanket turned out so beautiful!! I used the Lion Brand Hometown USA yarn and a size 13 needle. It was knitted for the little girl next door to me. She asked for the colors of the rainbow and that is what she got!!! The continuous pattern and bobbles are really nice. My husband told me that he liked it better than any blanket I've ever knitted.

I can't say enough great things about this pattern - it is absolutely amazing and a total joy to knit! The beautiful cabling and bobbles make for a gorgeous blanket with intricate detailing whilst being so cosy and thick to snuggle up with! I used Aran weight yarn for mine which works really nicely too. Lynn, the creator of this pattern, has been just wonderful and very sweet - offering a friendly and helpful hand whenever I've needed it. I'll be knitting many more of these in some different colours and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable pattern! Thank you Lynn! I'll be keeping my eye out for your future work :)

I am back for my 3rd BiscuitScout blanket cable knit throw. Everything about this throw is perfect. If you don't have one-get in line to have one made-It is worth every cent you will pay. Planning something special for my 4th.....

Just the best Etsy seller. She makes knitted blankets to die for. nAccommodating and wickedly fast. Soft and luxurious with some weight to keep you warm-A blanket or textile Aficionados nDream-a dense thickness that lets you know it is substantial, so soft to the senses that makes you feel as if you are wrapped up in a cloud. I LOVE this blanket! Thank you!!

Just working my way through this pattern now. It's a joy! The blanket looks ridiculously complicated but the way the pattern is written makes it so easy - everything that I've never done before - for example making bobbles - is explained stitch by stitch. So much better than knitting magazines that assume so much knowledge. Love that it's adaptable to British or American users. Pattern says 5 strands of double knit but I used three of aran on the same sized needles and it's working out fine. Making it as a gift, it's going to be well loved!
