What a serious nightmare of an experience. I received this table well packaged but damaged. The holes for the legs were bent. I immediately sent photos to the seller and asked for another table top. She said she was sorry that my table was damaged in transit, (no way copper was bent through the box and bubble wrap etc when the packaging wasn't damaged AT ALL.) Then she tells me to try to force the legs in the inserts. I tried improvising by opening the dents with a wrench which just made the situation worse. Then I asked for a refund and she asks me to send her photos again. Why would I lie about needing half of a piece of furniture? When I sent her the second set of photos, she shamed me for using a tool on the copper and said it was "totally mangled". It's been a month and I'm still asking for a refund or table top.
Hello Leslie, As discussed via Etsy messages I am so sorry to hear your table arrived damaged. We of course immedietly offered you a refund or replacement. We waited over a month to hear back from you, thanks for replying yesterday (10th July) and confirming you would like a refund. I have now processed your refund. Please do not worry about returning the damaged item to us, I don't want to cause you any trouble at all. Ping us over a message if you have any other questions - thank you Jade
This was a present, so don’t know really what I can say other than I think it was appreciated. Certainly looks good on the photo but then if it didn’t I would not have purchased it.
I’m a little disappointed that delivery was a couple of weeks then the fixings weren’t with what was delivered. More disappointing than that is the amount of plastic packaging. I choose natural material products and try to live as minimally as possible to reduce my footprint. Is there not a more sustainable way to ship your products? A cardboard box with biodegradable starch packing peanuts?
