This throw blanket is handcrafted using wool sweaters from a local thrift store. The sweaters are deconstructed, felted and cut into quilt squares. I stitch the quilt tops using my machine, and the backing is attached by hand using a blanket stitch. The throw quilt is then finished with assorted buttons also salvaged from the sweaters. This quilt is done in shades of blue and a little green. The fleece backing is light grey, and the stitching is a slightly darker shade of grey. The size is approximately 40 x 60".

The perfect Christmas gift for yourself or for a loved one!
