Description

This lovely ceramic planter has elegant lines and formal appeal. The base is square followed by a round foot, a decorative pedestal, and a square shaped "bowl" or pot that has a draped, scalloped edge and vertical lines. The planter is an ivory/white color and would look beautiful with a simple green plant or a special floral arrangement.

The planter is in good condition on the exterior. The interior, however is discolored and stained from use. It has been washed with mild soap and water, but some of the staining could likely be removed with a good scrubbing. Because this is in the interior, when filled, it should not be an issue. Note: look carefully at the first two photos and you will notice the planter does not sit perfectly even on the pedestal..but leans slightly. This is not likely to be noticed when displayed, especially if it is holding a plant or flowers. The planter is marked Inarco and E-1247. The International Art Ware Corp (INARCO) was founded in 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio. They imported items such as this planter from Japan, especially in their early years.

The planter is approximately 5" by 5" at the top and 5.75" tall. The planter portion is about 2.75 inches deep. B38
