A 19th century French decanting in working condition. This model is illustrated in Robin Butlers first book of wine antiques. It is made from brass and silver plate. It is in the form of a field gun and has Rococo Revival decoration. It will hold a bottle with sloping shoulders. There is some loss of plating and wear to the wheels but it has good age and has been used. A real wine collectors find. Height about 8 inches.
