Vintage Art Deco diamond ring. A stunning old European cut diamond in a slim, platinum-topped bezel setting, floats, as if in mid-air, ringed by another slender, platinum-topped halo, which is embraced by sumptuously molded, flared reeded shoulders of warm gold, that taper to a narrow reeded shank at the back. The profile is solid and smooth. An understated, yet richly sensuous ring. The center diamond is approximately .60 carats, H color, VVS2 clarity, eye clean and artfully cut. The metal tests as 14K gold and platinum. Austro-Hungarian hallmarks for 14K gold, Lemburg/Lviv origin mark, and other indistinct marks. Circa 1910s to 1920s. The ring is in very good vintage condition..

This piece is currently a US size 5 1/4 to 5 1/2, but can be resized by your local jeweler.
