"The Night the Mountain Fell: The Story of the Montana-Yellowstone Easrthquake" by Edmund Christopherson.

This softbound book provides firsthand accounts of the deadly August 1959 earthquake that shook the Yellowstone area.

The day after the quake, author Christopherson headed to the site and was subsequently able to interview survivors, first responders and forest service personnel. The book contains many graphic images, as well as illustrations and a fold-out map on the back cover.

CONDITION: Binding is solid. Covers are bright. Some mild corner bumping and edge wear. No handwriting or signatures. Foldout map has been tape repaired at the seam (see photo 4).
