Description

This wine bottle is ready to be made into a custom light in YOUR style!

The photos you see were taken after the bottle was only cleaned (and emptied!), but I have removed and saved the front label as well as drilling a hole near the bottom for the lights, as shown. I can assure you the label and glass lived through the process so this bottle is ready to be decorated as YOU see fit!

To purchase this bottle with your own custom flair, please let me know what you are hoping for (colors, patterns, etc.) in the "Note to Seller" box you'll see while checking out. Don't worry, if I don't think I fully understand what you're asking for, I'll reach out and ask!

If you're unsure about what to ask for or want to make sure I'm a reasonable person before ordering, feel free to send me a message via the "Contact" link on my shop! I'll get back to you as fast as I can.

A simple strand light looks great inside the bottle. Buy your own or leave it to me; I can go out and get it for you!

My recommendation is a battery powered light string. It allows you to move the lamp around as you see fit! The drilled hole (1/2”) is just large enough to feed a standard string of Christmas lights (though I don’t recommend a full length one). Choosing this style allows the lamp to be plugged into a wall – though I must warn you with this option the bottle will get a little warm if left on for long periods of time. Please contact me with any questions!

As you can see in my shop, my decoration of choice is usually decoupaging the bottle with various colors or patterns. This method diffuses the light really well and looks great both in the day and night! If you need ideas for what you want, feel free to browse my shop, check out my website (www.melaniesmysteries.com), or simply google what's out there!

I have most colors of crepe paper already, as well as some patterns, but if there is something specific you want, give me a little more time to get the materials and we'll work out a way to complete your request!

The wine bottle light is beautiful! I got the plug in LED option and it's just the right length, all of the lights fit inside the bottle nicely! The bottle was shipped very fast and in a very secure package with wonderful instructions included.
